Dr. Kulvir Dhaliwal, a proud Edmonton native, has been a trusted optometrist in the Fraser Valley since 2011. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2002, where he served as acting President of the Canadian Association of Optometry Students, overseeing the publication of the annual student handbook and coordinating the national interview and placement process for graduating students. He also completed a competitive externship in Orlando, Florida, gaining hands-on experience in a multi-doctor primary care optometry setting.
After graduation, Dr. Dhaliwal returned to Edmonton, partnering in two comprehensive eye care clinics where he provided advanced care, including contact lens fittings and eyewear solutions. In 2011, he and his family relocated to the Fraser Valley to join Dr. Gabriel Chu’s practice in Abbotsford, before becoming an integral part of Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser in November 2013. Outside the clinic, Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and occasionally hitting the golf course.
