Dr. Chiam honed his expertise at the New England College of Optometry while collaborating with Boston University’s School of Medicine on groundbreaking research into retinal microvascular abnormalities.
After graduation, he returned to Vancouver, British Columbia, quickly establishing himself as a leading optometrist in primary care. He partnered with Dr. Joseph King at King LASIK in Burnaby, delivering expert pre- and post-operative laser vision correction care, and gained extensive experience providing comprehensive eye care, including advanced contact lens fittings and eyewear solutions, at Sears Optical. In 2017, Dr. Chiam joined Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser, where he continues to combine his passion for primary care with cutting-edge medical optometry, elevating the standard of eye care for every patient he sees.
