Laser Vision Correction

Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK)

PRK is a surface-based laser vision correction procedure that delivers the same visual outcomes as LASIK, without creating a corneal flap. It is often the better choice for thinner corneas, dry eyes or very active lifestyles.

The treatment is quick and painless; vision sharpens over days to weeks as the surface heals, and our team pre-books every follow-up so recovery is fully supported.

Common questions

How is PRK different from LASIK?
Both reshape the cornea with the same laser. PRK treats the surface directly instead of under a flap, so healing takes longer but the long-term results are equivalent.
What is recovery like?
Expect light sensitivity and mild discomfort for 2 to 4 days while the surface heals, with vision sharpening over the following weeks. A bandage contact lens protects the eye at first.
Am I a candidate?
A free consultation with corneal mapping will confirm whether PRK, LASIK or ICL is the safest option for your eyes.
