Dr. Joseph King graduated from the University Of British Columbia School Of Medicine in Vancouver. Dr. King completed his ophthalmology residency training at Case Western Reserve, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Following his ophthalmology residency, he went on to a fellowship in laser vision correction at the University of South Florida Eye Institute. Dr. King was on staff at LASIK Vision Institute in Bellevue, Washington, LASIK MD, and Restore Vision Centers in British Columbia and Alberta.
In 2013, Dr. King along with Dr. Gabriel Chu opened Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser Centre, a comprehensive ophthalmology and surgical facility. Dr. King has a diverse general ophthalmology practice including, but not limited to, patients with glaucoma, diabetes, and cataracts. He has extensive experience performing small incision cataract surgery with topical anesthesia and is also a leader in the field of laser vision correction.
