Our Consulting Team
Dr. Gabriel K. Chu, MD
Dr. Gabriel Chu is a native of Edmonton, Alberta. He received his medical degree from the University of Alberta, going on to complete his surgical training at the University of Western Ontario. There, he received Fellow status with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). Dr. Chu is currently a faculty member at the University of British Columbia, ensuring his clinic remains up to date on all advances in techniques and technology.
In 2013, Dr. Chu and Dr. King opened Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser, a comprehensive ophthalmology and surgical facility. Through his clinic, Dr. is able to live out his mission to bring the best vision care medically possible to his patients.
Dr. Joseph King, MD
Dr. Joseph King graduated from the University Of British Columbia School Of Medicine. Dr. King completed his ophthalmology residency training at Case Western Reserve, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Following his ophthalmology residency, he went on to a fellowship in laser vision correction at the University of South Florida Eye Institute.
In 2013, Dr. King and Dr. Chu opened Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser, a comprehensive ophthalmology and surgical facility. He is committed to having the best and safest technology available here at Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser.

Our doctors are high-volume veterans in the clinic and the surgical room. Our trained staff, administrators, and managers are also excellent resources. We specialize in Cataract Surgery with intraocular lenses, iStents, and eyelid surgery. We are happy to give expert opinions, or be a speaker or panelist for your needs.
